Our Offer

At the French Institute of Turkey you can take and pass certifications, certifying your level of French, from beginner to advanced, in all practice settings of the French language (social life, career, specialty area).

These certifications, recognized worldwide, will be very useful during your academic career, especially if you want to follow or continue your education in a French university. They also will be valuable throughout your career.

There are two main types of validation tools of language skills, aligned on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR) and internationally recognized.

 

  • Diplomas aretests assessing your skills and know-how and lead to the issuance of certificates with unlimited validity in time.

 

  • The tests are rapid exams and of variable validity length, resulting in the issuance of a score that ranks candidates on a grid of levels and skills.

 

I. The certifications issued by the International Centre for Studies in Education - CIEP

 

 

1.1. DELF - Studies Diploma in French Language and DALF - Advanced Diploma in French Language -
 

THE DELF and DALF all age groups


The DELF and DALF are official qualifications awarded by the French Ministry of National Education. These diplomas are intended for adult audiences

 

Each degree corresponds toone of the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. For each levela series of tests evaluates the four communication skills: written and oral comprehension and production.

The DELF Prim
 

The DELF Prim is for all beginner children in French as foreign language engaged in language study corresponding to elementary French, that is to say the 1st to the 5th year in the Turkish school system, or age required to continue these studies according to the regulations in force in their country. It entitles the award of a diploma identical to that of all public version.

 

The DELFJunior

The junior version of DELF is built on the same structure as the standard DELF. Only the topics are different: the media reflect the interests of young people. The DELF Junior is reserved for a public school age in secondary and entitles the award of a diploma identical to that of all public version. The exams are independent and the candidate can apply directly to one's choice. Each test assesses the four communication skills: written and oral comprehension, written and oral production.

1.2. TCF - French Knowledge Test

 


The TCF is the French knowledge test of the CIEP.

This is a test of language skills in French; it comes in several versions for specific audiences. It is particularly relevant to students, businesses and international organizations. The TCF places the candidate on one of the six levels of the European Framework of Reference for Languages. Scores for the TCF result in the issuance of a certificate valid for 2 years.

 

There are different forms of TCF.

 

-The standard TCF : A test if you want to evaluate your French skills for personal, academic or professional reasons.


- The TCF DAP (preliminary application for admission): A test if you are a student and you want to integrate a license or license 2 in a French university or architecture school.

- The TCF for access to French nationality: A test if you need to prove your level of French as part of an application for acquisition of French nationality.


- The TCF Québec : to pass if you want to settle in Québec and should evaluate your level of French as part of an immigration case to the immigration office in Quebec.

 

 

II. The certifications issued by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris
 

 

The French Evaluation Test (TEF), the French Evaluation Test Adapted to Québec(TEF AQ) of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris (CCIP)

 

Designed and distributed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris, the French Evaluation Test (TEF) is an international reference instrument to measure the level of knowledge and skills in French of non-francophones.

The French Evaluation Test Adapted to Québec (TEF AQ) responds even more specifically to an application for immigration to Quebec.

Scores on the TEF result in the issuance of a certificate valid for 1 year.

You can take the test several times.

The TEF has an extensive administrative and professional recognition:


- The School of Commerce Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris, each year, hosting 30 to 35% foreign students;
- Many francophone companies and educational institutions.



- The French Evaluation Test Adapted to Québec(TEF AQ)

The TEF AQ is for candidates wishing to evaluate their level of French as part of an application for emigration to Canada and Quebec.


It is recognized by Canada and Québec official bodies.

- The Canadian federal government (Citizenship and Immigration Canada) for language assessment of potential immigrants to this country (or skilled worker category of the Canadian experience);

- The Department of Immigration and Cultural Communities of Quebec (see CCIP page dedicated to TEFAQ)
